Structured Cabling Staffing with Dedicated Recruiters

Build crews and hire technical leaders for copper and fiber installations, testing and project turnover.

Recruiting around the work

Structured cabling supports the systems and trades that follow. When installation falls behind, a lead leaves or testing reveals problems, the wider project can feel the impact. Fieldlink helps contractors find people with the hands-on capabilities the work requires.

We evaluate copper and fiber experience, termination and testing capability, jobsite background, crew responsibilities and applicable BICSI credentials. Our structured cabling headhunters use industry relationships to reach technicians, splicers and field leaders whose experience fits the installation or leadership role.

Fieldlink provides experienced structured cabling professionals across the full project lifecycle, from new construction and technology refreshes to rollouts, relocations, and ongoing field support. Our staffing coverage spans cable pullers and installers through engineering and project management, supporting fiber and copper infrastructure, rack and stack, closet build-outs, wireless deployments, smart hands, POS, and IP backbone projects.

Candidate Qualifications & Site Readiness

BICSI credentials are an important qualification benchmark for many structured cabling roles. Fieldlink verifies applicable credential levels and technical experience as part of the screening process and evaluates candidates against the requirements identified for the position and project.

Depending on the role, the site and applicable law, requirements may include applicable BICSI credentials, state low-voltage licenses where required, OSHA training, aerial-lift qualifications, background screening, drug testing and general contractor or customer-specific access requirements. Employment eligibility verification takes place during onboarding, after an offer of employment has been accepted.

We work with clients to identify those requirements upfront so candidate readiness can be addressed before mobilization rather than at the jobsite. Final site access remains subject to the client or facility.

FAQs

For Employers

Timing depends on the market, crew size, site requirements and technical experience required. Pullers and general installers may be available relatively quickly, while full crews requiring an experienced lead, BICSI Technicians, RCDDs and other specialized professionals generally require a more targeted search. We’ll establish a realistic timeline after reviewing the project requirements.
